This is the page where most of what you want to know about me will be revealed.  A brief synopsis of my
childhood experiences...up to high school...college and into the working world.  I don't consider myself all that
inspiring to others, however if what I share does reach people I'm all for that.  For all that I have seen & done
served a purpose.  A purpose of preparation.  Things haven't always been easy and I've sacrificed a lot.
However, in all things I see good...even in bad.  For every "Perfect Storm" there is a way out or a way
through.  I believe that.  Take a small peek...as to what I call...
"MY LIFE".  (til this point.)
BORN
:
I was born in Tulsa OK.  I don't remember much about the younger years.  I will however try and recap my experiences
of each grade level and the place that I was.  I say that because I moved a LOT.
Kindergarten
:
I think the thing I remember most about Kindergarten was this ugly velvet shirt that I wore in my picture.  Mom has
told me that my teachers claimed that I was very creative, yet very messy.  (go figure)  I seem to also remember
going to somone's birthday party at Casa Bonita which at one time in Tulsa - that was a happening place!

7th Grade:
This grade is one of the easier ones.  I was actually at the middle school in Durant.  I remember really liking Algebra and having a
variety of friends.  (usually loners like myself)  I also remember this was where I actually hit someone because she wouldn't leave me
alone just because I supposedly said something in a letter about her.  (nothing mean, just a truth)  I remember how shook up I was
as the anger turned into hitting her.  It was not pretty.  I was VERY upset after.  We ended up being friends again though.  7th grade
was also great because I was playing trumpet in the band.  We won first place at Sandy Lake and I think another place too.  My
skills improved a little, but I didn't play much after I left.  I remember baggy pants and NKOTB being a big deal.  To this day...I
very occasionally drive past that school in which it once looked LARGE...now seems small to me.
8th Grade:
I went to a small private Christian school in this grade.  We were still in southern Oklahoma and I had decided that I didn't like
Durant all that much so I opted for this choice.  I belive we had a total of 3 of us in 8th grade.  It being so small the teachers had to
teach multiple grades & levels.  It was actually quite neat.  We did a fashion show and learned a few things like etiquette.  HAH!  It
wasn't your traditional christian school though.  No uniforms.  It was just as restrictive as a normal public school.  I did enjoy going
there as I got the most awesome class ring w/ a blue stone & an eagle underneath.  I even remember making a speech and getting
awards for my grades in a lot of subjects.  One of the most fun projects here was a full body outline we made for science.  We drew
the arteries, etc for the human body using our real body outline.  I remember mine being kinda large but I could still draw at that
age!!!  Oh that was fun.  They were hung up on the wall for show and quite a few people were impressed.  Unfortunately, my time
at this school would only be one year.
9th Grade:
For some reason we moved to a small town outside of Durant called Silo.  I don't remember why I chose to go there instead of the
private school.  I think because it had more opportunities and was closer.  So I ended up at Silo High.  I didn't feel like that typical
freshman.  I felt like the same as I had always felt.  Every time we moved or I moved schools it was all new for me.  I had no
concept of cliques even though it was evident in 7th grade that there were some.  The things I remember most about Silo were the
subjects I had to take.  One class was optional of course.  I took woodworking!  We went through the book and learned how to do
stuff and then we had an individual project to complete.  I made a shelf and ended up giving that to my mom.  Our teacher was quite
fun and you could almost consider it a goofing off class, but we still had to do work of course. :)  I also remember OK history.  Who
can ever forget that.  My history teacher reminded me of my Grandpa!!!  I was also in a class called Work Orientation.  This
basically focused on learning how to write checks, balance checkbooks and everything you might need to know in the world outside
of school.  The other half of the year was Home Economics.  (WO & HE were split classes I think)  We cooked & sewed for the
semester.  I think I enjoyed the sewing more.  I mean COME ON!  You get a grade for sewing!  I made a great pair of shorts w/ a
matching tank top.  IT was quite comical that I used teddy bears for button covers.  (*DORK*)  haha!  I remember having a major
crush on a guy that maybe liked me for a split second but we never hooked up.  I don't recall hooking up with anyone that whole
year.  I did meet a few people and had a few acquaintence friends.  Itz funny that I came back when everyone graduated and
hugged a former classmate who had won Valedictorian.  She said "If you had stayed here, you would have got it".  I was shocked
she said that. :) hehehehe.  It was funny to look back also at one girl that had blatently made fun of me for no reason.  She kept
saying "Jennifer Johnson is German".  I couldn't understand why she didn't like me?  I did nothing to her.  I'm guessing from other
sources that told me she was jealous, but it didn't bother me.  I have NEVER understood people that just pre-judge someone and
pick on them when they don't know them.  *shrug* :)  So I kept in my little quiet corner and made good grades!  However that
would be my last year there.  Uh oh - I"m moving again.
