This is what you call everything....from clothing...to design in my home...promotions...posters...and
anything I have deemed as unique ideas..
Past apartment Kitchen Project... - 2003
Being the kind of person that I am...I opted for a bright green/retro feel in my apartment kitchen.  I was very limited in what I
had to work with...but the elements I used to bring it all together...were unique.  I used foam, plastic sheeting & lots of green
paints!!! :)  These were the final results.  (I do not have before pictures)
The green circles on
the far wall were hand
painted and I added
little wooden green
circles to create almost
a planetary look.
These circle were a
mix of foam...and
plastic.
An overview of the
kitchen sink area.  All
of this was
hand-crafted and
painted.
The multi-green
painting and the
corresponding small
foam & wooden art.
I made matching
smaller circles to tie in
both sides of the room.
 Notice the utensil
holder...it matches the
other paintings.
The wall of New York...2003
In my love of New York City...I had a vision in my mind of a wall covered in different photographic shots of the city.  I copied
my very own photos (from all different trips) and made a large collage on posterboard and tacked it on the wall.  I didn't
fully complete this project because the spray glue I used...was
NOT working.  My original intent was to cover the entire
wall...and then watercolor matching colors of my living room onto them.  However, everyone that came over were still
impressed with the idea. :)
These 3 photos are the beginning stages of the posterboard collages.  I
hung them up all over my apartment as my floor space was limited.
This was the drying process as well as keeping the CAT from walking on
them!!!
Most of the finished project.  I
cannot locate a photo of
the completion.  (2 poster
boards are missing)
The Clothing ideas...
spanning from 2003 and beyond.
Please note:  This section is
ever-growing.  I have at
least 2 more ideas
brewing right now...but
have not completed them
yet...Keep checking back
for more!!!!
I designed both of
these shirts at the
same time...I was
going through stages
in life where I felt that
both of these phrases
SPOKE and I still wear
them proudly. :)
The shirt I made for my husband Christmas
2004.  I used some of his favorite scriptures &
put "paymaster" as the theme over that.
Las Vegas
2003...I
designed this
shirt
especially for
the fan meet!
TANK TOP tantrum...
a project that involved multiple designs, fabrics ...well, you see below!:)
fabrics, tanks &
pending ideas....
playing around with
the cut-outs I had
made.
final decision
made...I used
webbing to fuse the
fabric to the
web...and then the
web/fabric to the
tank top.
front...
back...
This shirt was made for the Complex Rock Tour
2003.  IT was inspired by an inspiring Blue Man.

The back is a phrase I came up with...to help
others there at the concert get involved.  Did
it work?  Sure, a little bit!!!!
2nd finished...again using
the double-webbing
technique.
4 different tank tops...all unique...designed
on a spur of the moment...trial & error
process!!!! :)
My Engagement/Wedding Ring....and the Wedding IDEAS....

THE
GUESTBOOK
I found a standard large
guestbook...and did a flower collage on
the front on top of foam board, then
glued to the front.  Inside were polaroids
of my guests.
The wedding "favors"....
~Little chinese boxes with the same flowers as the guestbook on the front.
~filled with regular candy & chocolate kisses.
~a *note* was attached with ribbon stating who we were and what date we were married.  It came out nicely.
At the actual wedding we had made a
PYRAMID of them...(we fixed it later to not
show the *gap*
the beginning
stages...gluing...stuffing...filling...preparing...
One of the finished
products.  (with bubbles
aside of it.)
Our cakes were simple...and to the point.  2 GIANT sheetcakes from Sam's did the trick  One
green and one blue.  I picked out all the multi-color plates and cups myself.  I did not limit
myself to one color at my wedding...and it came out wonderful.

You will also note
hand-made mints next to the punch bowl.  We rolled those ourselves as a
family project.  Great fun!!!!
Being a fan of the Blue Man Group and their show,  I incorporated a lot of things into my
wedding that were tokens of their inspiration.  A couple of my friends agreed to be actual
blue men AT my wedding and in that...we had some great fun.  That in itself - is unique.  I
think I am the first person to actually HAVE blue men impersonators at a wedding.
ARTWORK & Advertising and more...
My very own advertising method for when the
BMG came to Dallas in 2003.  I had people yell
at me through windows while DRIVING!!! :)
State Fair winners 2002... a painting and a
photograph won that year.
My old dining room
"gallery"...and a painting
pushed into a corner.
One of many
frame
transformation
s...I
spraypainted
them black
and added a
nice black &
white photos.

This is my photo of the
Empire State Building

the bird flying.  I added
the text to give the
emotion during that time.
For a poster
contest at
work...
I thought
it was clever.
I call this the Blue
Man Balloonman.
He accompanied
me to KKITM one
morning.
PVC chair...made in
the year 2002...itz
more of a work of
art...than seating.
My first exhibition - at a local bookstore.
early 2005...
I hung all of this myself.  I also matted & framed my photos according to the
colors on their walls to really draw attention to the inside.  I believe what I
learned from this...is that SIZE is everything.  I could have gone so much larger.
I also had one painting that hung there.  It worked so nicely with that
atmosphere.  It is a shame they closed down.
My work in progress...as of the last month...
my husband's old movie screen (about 87 inches)...will now be a feature art piece in
our dining room...when I complete this! :)
